1. Introduction

Welcome to The DSN Clinic LTD ("we," "us," "our"). 

These Terms of Business set out the basis on which we provide our services. By engaging with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

We provide services specialising in diabetes, including:

  • Educational Sessions
  • Locum Diabetes Specialist Nurse Clinics
  • Private Consultations
  • Corporate Health Education and Risk Assessments
  • SOP's, Policies & Procedures: Review & Renew

We may update our services from time to time, and any changes will be reflected on our website.

3. Fees, Payment & No Refunds Policy

  • Fees are agreed upon before services are provided.
  • Payment terms will be agreed upon before service delivery.
  • If payment is not received within the specified timeframe, all work will cease until payment is made in full.
  • Late payments will incur interest at 10% per month.
  • No refunds will be given for services or products purchased from us, except where required by law.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the appointment may be charged in full.
  • A minimum 48-hour notice is required to reschedule without incurring charges.

5. Liability & Insurance

  • We take all reasonable care to provide high quality, evidence based diabetes care.
  • However, our advice is supplementary to the care provided by your own NHS and private healthcare providers.
  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the improper use of our recommendations.
  • Indemnity Insurance: The DSN Clinic LTD is covered by the RCN Professional Indemnity Scheme. This provides professional liability coverage for our services in line with RCN guidelines.
  • Public & Product Liability Insurance: The DSN Clinic LTD is covered by Simply Business for services and products.

6. CQC Compliance

  • We have consulted with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) directly regarding our services and have taken their advice on specific regulated activity services which are provided in a CQC registered premises.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • The DSN Clinic LTD and its associated branding, logo, and name are protected and may not be copied, reproduced, or used in any form without our explicit written consent.
  • All content on our website, social media, and marketing materials, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and graphics, is owned by The DSN Clinic LTD and is protected under UK copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • Any documents, algorithms, policies, procedures (SOPs), educational materials, patient paperwork, risk assessment tools, leaflets, and presentations created by us remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, distributed, or used by any third party without prior express written permission.
  • Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution of any of our materials will be considered an infringement of our intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.

8. Products Disclaimer

  • Any products sold by The DSN Clinic LTD are provided "as is" and should be used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • We do not accept responsibility for any adverse effects, misuse, or failure of a product - please contact the manufacturer.
  • Refunds not accepted for health care related products due to hygiene and infection control reasons unless they are unused and are returned with the original packaging complete, undamaged and boxed as received with the security seal intact.

9. Advice Disclaimer

  • Advice given during consultations, educational, awareness, workshops, or corporate sessions is based on the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • However, this advice should not replace personalised medical care from your own GP or healthcare provider unless seen by The DSN Clinic LTD in a CQC registered premises.
  • We do not accept responsibility for any decisions made based on consultation, recommendation letters can (at cost) be sent direct to your own GP practice for their consideration if not seen by The DSN Clinic LTD in a CQC registered premises.

10. Pharmacies

Electronic prescriptions are sent using SignatureRx, who use advanced encryption and cryptography.

11. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • We comply with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 to ensure your personal information is handled securely.
  • Data will only be shared where legally required or with consent.

12. Complaints

  • We aim to respond within 10 working days.
